Why fewer middlemen means more value for everyone

Every extra link in the chain takes margin and adds days. This is how the numbers change when producer and buyer connect directly.
A traditional fresh-produce export involves up to six players between the orchard and the shelf: aggregator, independent packer, exporter, importer, wholesaler and distributor. Each one charges, each one stores and each one adds hours.
PlentiFrut's model reduces that chain to three: producer, PlentiFrut and trading company. The producer gets a price closer to the destination price, the buyer pays less for the same product and the goods arrive with more shelf life.
It is not about removing the value middlemen add (consolidating, financing, documenting), but about concentrating it in a single player who answers for everything.
