Frequently asked questions
What producers and buyers ask us before getting started.
What exactly is PlentiFrut?
An international trade broker: we connect producers directly with trading companies and handle the complete logistics. We do not buy the goods; we facilitate the deal and move them.
Do you only handle fruit?
No. We were born in Mexican agriculture, but we move any kind of goods: processed food, industrial products, raw materials and consumer goods.
How do you charge?
With a commission agreed per operation, transparent to both parties, plus the real logistics cost, which we show you itemised.
Do you work routes that do not go through Mexico?
Yes. We operate the world ↔ world corridor with the same network of agents, carriers and correspondents.
What do I need to start as a producer?
A product of consistent quality, volume capacity and the basic certifications of your sector. We tell you what is missing for each destination.
And as a buyer?
Tell us what you are looking for, in what volume and by when. We present verified origin options and a logistics proposal.
How long does a shipment take?
Air 1–3 days, land 2–7 days within North America, sea 12–40 days depending on the destination. Every route on our map shows its range.
Who takes care of customs paperwork?
We do, with certified customs brokers in Mexico and correspondents in every market. You receive the complete documentation.
